160407-N-JK586-007 STENNIS SPACE CENTER, Miss. (April 7, 2016) Cmdr. Clay Pendergrass, commanding officer of Naval Small Craft Instruction and Technical Training School (NAVSCIATTS), welcomes 15 senior officers from 13 partner nations who are attending NAVSCIATTS' Strategic Level Small Craft Combating Terrorism Course (SLC). During the SLC course, the officers receive training on the strategic theory of standing up, leading and operating a dynamic unit focused on combating counterterrorism, maritime domain control, counter-narcotics and human trafficking. NAVSCIATTS is U.S. Special Operations Command's International Center specializing in mobile and in-resident training across the tactical, operational and strategic spectrums strengthening partner nation capabilities and capacity.
