A local Iraqi vendor, president of the Kufran Group in Baghdad, discusses the construction services his company can provide to United States Forces-Iraq. Al-Asdi was participating in the Victory Region Contracting Center's Vendor Fair held at Camp Liberty, Iraq, Feb. 13. The Vendors Fair, only the second to be held in Iraq, is designed to bring contracting officials with United States Forces-Iraq face to face with Iraqis who can provide goods and services locally to U.S. units. The Vendor Fair is part of Iraq First effort to to assist Iraqis with economic development.
