Matangharon Elementary School, damaged during last year’s typhoon, is one of multiple humanitarian and civic assistance projects that demonstrate our commitment to training, cooperation and interoperability between the Philippines and the U.S. The annual bilateral exercise allows service members from both countries to train and enhance humanitarian assistance and disaster relief capabilities in the event of natural disasters or crisis endangerments.
