ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - Minnesota National Guard Soldiers participate in an active shooter exercise with the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office and nearly a dozen other law enforcement, fire and emergency medical organizations April 1, 2016 at the Arden Hills Army Training Site (AHATS). Gruesome simulated injuries and other realistic sights and sounds help participants develop teamwork across agencies and critical experience in a high-stress, real-world scenario.
The Minnesota National Guard coordinates with and conducts similar training alongside local law enforcement in many of the state’s installation, armory and recruiting facility communities in order to preserve the effectiveness and survivability of personnel and facilities.
