John Rozen speaks to U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Gerardo Granados about the initial days of Marine Corps recruit training during the Educators’ Workshop aboard Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, S.C., March 30, 2016. The workshop is a four-day program designed to better inform high school educators and community influencers about the benefits and opportunities available during service in the Marine Corps. This allows the attendees to return to their place of business and provide first-hand experience and knowledge with individuals interested in military service. Rozen is a science teacher with Whitman-Hanson Regional High School in Whitman, M.A., and Granados is a receiving drill instructor with Recruit Processing Company.
