Sailors in a Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat were recovered out of the water into the amphibious dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry, after serving as a safety patrol boat during amphibious operations during Cobra Gold 2010. Harpers Ferry is part of the forward-deployed Essex Amphibious Ready Group participating in Cobra Gold 2010. Cobra Gold is an annual bilateral training exercise designed to train Thai, U.S., Republic of Korea and Singaporean task force personnel.
