ATLANTIC OCEAN (March 23, 2016) – A Gunner’s Mate fires a shotline from the aft missile deck of the guided-missile destroyer USS Roosevelt (DDG 80) to the Military Sealift Command (MSC) fleet replenishment oiler USNS Leroy Grumman (T-AO 195) during a replenishment-at-sea (RAS). Roosevelt is underway conducting Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) with the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group in preparation for a future deployment.
