    160321-N-RU971-084EAST SEA (March 21, 2016) – Fire Controlmen 2nd Class Ada Luk, from San Diego, Calif., attaching the ground lug to a RIM-116 Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) container during RAM offload aboard amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). Launched from two MK-49 RAM launchers, fore and aft, it is used for supersonic short ranged missile defense. Bonhomme Richard is the lead ship of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group and is forward-deployed in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operation.
