A large billowing black cloud of smoke emerges from downtown Port-au-Prince where corpses are being burned by the dozens Jan. 29, 2010. The black smoke lasted about four hours and could be seen and smelt from around the entire city. A massive humanitarian effort is being conducted by many countries and organizations throughout the earthquake devastated country of Haiti.
