Goro Matsumura, Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force commanding General, Northeastern Army, stand at attention during the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami 5th annual remembrance ceremony aboard the Japanese minesweeper tender JS Bungo (MST 464). Japan experienced a powerful 9.0-magnitude earthquake March 11, 2011, which also triggered a massive tsunami that devastated Japan's eastern seaboard.
