An Iraqi soldier enrolled in the Junior Leaders Course stacks up against a wall before clearing a building at Camp Taji, Iraq, Feb. 9, 2016. The soldiers participated in the building clearing training to improve their fundamental infantry skills. This training is part of the overall Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve building partner capacity (BPC) mission to increase the military capacity of Iraqi Security Forces fighting the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. The curriculum at BPC sites includes: leadership, ethics and law of war training and instruction. Additionally, the recruits are taught land navigation, basic medical training, infantry skills and small unit tactics.
