A sailor signals for the pilot of an MV-22B Osprey belonging to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265 (Reinforced), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, to land on the USS Ashland (LSD 48), Feb. 29, 2016. Marines on board the Osprey were cross decking from the Ashland to the USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). The Marines and sailors of the 31st MEU are currently embarked aboard the Navy ships of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group as part of their spring deployment to the Asia-Pacific region.
