160308-N-TH560-065 EAST SEA (March 8, 2016) – Seaman Esfran Adame, from Reeding, Pa., mans the starboard lookout watch aboard amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) during a formation of 19 U.S. Navy ships. Bonhomme Richard is the flagship of the Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group and is participating in Ssang Yong 2016, the largest combined amphibious exercise of its kind to date, designed to strengthen interoperability and working relationships across a wide range of military operations from disaster relief to complex expeditionary operations.
