Soldiers of 3rd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment fire during a joint fires training exercise on Nowa Deba training area, March 2, with Polish soldiers. Both Polish and U.S. platoons took turns patrolling and making contact with the enemy during the training exercise, while also implementing CLS (combat lifesaver) techniques when engaging the enemy. This exercise is part of Army Europe-led Operation Atlantic Resolve land force assurance training taking place across Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland to enhance multinational interoperability, strengthen relationships among allied militaries, contribute to regional stability and demonstrate U.S. commitment to NATO.
