U.S. Coast Guard Reservist Petty Officer 2nd Class Colin Thurston, a damage control man from Easton, N.H., performs maintenance with his team on cooling system components aboard Coast Guard Cutter Ocracoke, a 110-foot patrol boat based out of South Portland, Maine, at Coast Guard Base Boston, Saturday, March 5, 2016. The cutter docked at Base Boston for scheduled maintenance. Thurston is a member of a Reserve Maintenance Assist Team. This cadre of engineering specialists has the ability to repair equipment and perform maintenance aboard active duty Coast Guard cutters. The U.S. Coast Guard Reserve is celebrating its 75th Anniversary throughout 2016, and has a long tradition of supporting active duty members of the Coast Guard.
