Jade, daughter of fallen U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Taj Sareen, removes her father’s dog tags and a locket containing his picture from a puzzle box. Sareen originally purchased a similar puzzle box for Jade while at the RAF Lakenheath Base Exchange, but it’s thought to have been lost when his aircraft crashed shortly after departing Lakenheath. When notified of the untimely death of a recognized customer and member of the military family, the box was replaced by the shop owners, with the added engraving, “Daddy loves you always.” (Courtesy photo)
