(Feb. 18, 2016) Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, tour Under Water Construction Team (UCT) 2 Detachment BRAVO’s dive gear and operations. UCT 2 Seabees explain the function of decompression chambers and the importance of having them nearby during diving operations. NMCB 3 is homeported in Port Hueneme, Calif., and is currently deployed to Okinawa, Japan. Its mission is to support Navy and joint forces throughout the U.S. Pacific Command with construction projects and humanitarian missions in more than 13 different geographical locations.
