160227-N-YL073-181 ARABIAN GULF (Feb. 27, 2016) Naval Air Crewman (Helicopter) 2nd Class Keggin Daniels, attached to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 28, the “Dragon Whales,” from Little Rock, Ark., performs a pre-flight check of a PCU-20 vest aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3). Kearsarge is the flagship for the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and, with the embarked 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
