    Coast Guard personnel here coordinate and support incident commanders conducting Haiti disaster relief and humanitarian efforts in theater, Friday, Jan. 22 These commanders include Coast Guard Seventh District, Joint Task Force Haiti and USAID. Coast Guard personnel here have been working around the clock since a 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti, Jan. 12. Since the earthquake, Atlantic Area personnel have coordinated the evacuation of 987 American citizens, 180 medical evacuations and the transportation of 599 first responders.
