An Iraqi soldier enrolled in the Junior Leaders Course, strains to maintain his hold during an esprit de corps physical training competition at Camp Taji, Iraq, Feb. 2, 2016. The esprit de corps competition was held to improve the Iraqi soldiers’ morale after physical training exercises. Training at the building partner capacity sites is an integral part of Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve’s multinational effort to train Iraqi security force personnel to defeat the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL). A Coalition of nations have joined together to defeat ISIL and the threat they pose to Iraq, Syria, the region and the wider international community. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Kalie Jones/Released)
