Cpl. Justin Buch (left) and Sgt. Justin Mendez explain the capabilities and purpose of Humvees to tourists during a public tour of the USS Anchorage (LPD 23) in San Diego, Feb. 18, 2016. The tours were open to the public to show the local population the capabilities and equipment of an amphibious transport dock, and the living conditions of the crew and passengers when embarked. Mendez, a San Jose, Calif., native, and Buch, a Nordheim, Texas, native, were a part of a static display of Humvees.
