Marines and local volunteers organize articles at the Santa Elena History Center, downtown Beaufort Feb. 18. The articles are part of a Santa Elena historical exhibition, a 16th century Spanish settlement once located in present-day Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island. The Santa Elena Foundation plans to display the exhibition in the Parris Island Museum in the near future. The Marines are from Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort.
