U.S. Army Spc. John Volkmer of the 625th Signal Company teaches a class during the field exercise Feb. 19-21 at Camp Swift in Bastrop, Texas. This three-day exercise, hosted by the 625th Signal Company, gives 136th Expeditionary Signal Battalion’s signal soldiers not mobilized training on how to set up and operate generators, Satellite Transportable Terminals, Radio Retransmission equipment, and the High Capacity Line of Sight system. This equipment mirrors the most up-to-date technology being used overseas by their deployed counterparts. (Photo by U.S. Army National Guard Sgt. Elizabeth Pena/Released)
