U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Nathaniel Rhodes drains contaminated oil from an AAV-P7/A1 Amphibious Assault Vehicle Feb. 14, 2016, at the Thai AAV camp in Chonburi, Thailand. Marines with Alpha Company, Battalion Landing Team 1st Battalion 5th Marines, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit are in Thailand for Cobra Gold 16. CG16 provides a joint, combined task force venue for all participating nations to advance interoperability, and increase capacity to plan and conduct combined task force events.
