Columbiana, Ala., native Spc. Brandon Bishop, the number two man on a howitzer crew assigned to 2nd Battalion, 12th Field Artillery Regiment, 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, performs a functions check on the breach of an M777 howitzer. The crew supported 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, during a joint fires exercise Jan. 10.
