SAN DIEGO (Feb. 12, 2016) Sailors and Marines aboard amphibious transport dock ship USS New Orleans (LPD 18) prepare to chock and chain an MV-22 Osprey from Medium Tilt Rotor Squadron (VMM 166) as it is signaled onto the flight deck. More than 4,500 Sailors and Marines from the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group and 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (13th MEU) departed San Diego today for a deployment to the 3rd, 5th and 7th Fleet areas of operations.
