Marines from the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit head toward the amphibious assault ship USS Bataan at the Morehead City, N.C. port, Jan. 15, to embark for a mission to Haiti. The 22nd MEU will deploy to the earthquake ravaged Caribbean nation aboard the USS Bataan, Carter Hall and Fort McHenry to conduct sea based humanitarian assisstance and disaster relief.
