160202-N-AX638-022 ARABIAN GULF (Feb. 2, 2016) U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Tyler Worley, from Cartersville, Ga., attached to the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), raises an I-beam during maintenance on an MV-22 Osprey in the hangar bay aboard amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3). Kearsarge is the flagship for the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and, with the embarked 26 MEU, is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
