Marines of Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 165, Marine Aircraft Group 16, 3d Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW), participate in a training evolution aboard Hemet Ryan Air Attack Base, Calif., February 11, 2016. The Marines Coordinate with the California Fire Department of Forestry to fill and drop 900 liter buckets of water over simulated wild fires. This exercise is performed as part of an agreement between the Marine Corps, Navy, and California Fire Department of Forestry Interagency Military Helicopter Firefighting Program, which is implemented through the Defense Support to Civilian Authorities process.
