U.S. Army Alaska paratroopers assigned to 1st Battalion, 501st Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, mark their vehicles as they prepare to execute a combined arms live-fire exercise at the Joint Readiness Training Center’s Peason Ridge during rotation 16-04 held at Fort Polk, La., Feb. 11, 2016. Being an Alaska-based airborne unit, 4-25th will stay a rapidly-deployable, tailorable asset for the commander of U.S. Army Pacific.
