    310th Expeditionary Sustainment Command

Soldiers from the 326th Military History Detachment from Whitehall, Ohio, process a historical collection donated by retired Staff Sgt. H. Lee Adelman, the Antiterrorism Director for Naval District Washington Headquarters. Adelman received the collection of World War II memorabilia from his late father-in-law, George Mills Grant, who served with the 766th Railway Shop Battalion, which is now the 766th Transportation Battalion, located in South Bend, Indiana. The collection includes a Nazi flag, one of Grant’s uniform shirts, and maps detailing the route that the unit took through France and into Germany. Miscellaneous photographs and documents from Grant’s time in service and the unit’s history were also among the items. The collection will be processed by the detachment and transferred to the 766th Transportation Battalion for display.
