Sgt. Jonathan Hufstetler, a cannon crew member assigned to C Battery, Field Artillery Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment conducts pre-fire mission checks while emplacing an M777 A2 towed Howitzer before life fire gunnery qualification tables, Feb. 9, in Torun, Poland. As part of a multifaceted mission, C Battery rapidly deployed from Vilseck, Germany within 96 hours of notification for their Exercise Dragoon Shock. Once in Torun, C Battery set up in the town square for a community engagement static display before conducting gunnery. This certification will qualify the unit to support live fire exercises alongside 3rd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment in Lithuania.
