The armed forces participating in Cobra Gold 16 stand side by side in formation to represent cooperation and commitment among partner nations in order to achieve effective solutions to common challenges during the opening ceremony at Sattahip Naval Base, Thailand February 9, 2016. Working together, the partnering nations will increase the capacity to plan and conduct combined task force events. During Cobra Gold the participants will also improve the quality of life, as well as the general health and welfare of civilian residents in the regional area.
