U.S. Army Capt. Mark McKinney assigned to 1st Sustainment Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, issues ballistic vests to Iraqi soldiers with the Nineveh Operation Command at Camp Taji, Iraq, Jan. 14, 2016. Before Iraqi Security Forces begin training at the building partner capacity sites, they will be biometrically enrolled in the course, then issued their basic equipment for training. Iraq train and equip funding, facilitated by Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve, provides essential weapons and equipment to Iraqi Security Forces as part of the building partner capacity mission.
