Recruits of Mike Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, conduct pull-ups during the circuit course event at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Feb. 2. To conduct a proper pull-up, recruits were instructed to pull up enough to get their chin over the bar before going back down to the starting position. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Mike Company is scheduled to graduate April 15.
