Recruits of Mike Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, lift weights during the circuit course event at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Feb. 2. Many of the exercises required the use of the recruits’ upper body strength. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Mike Company is scheduled to graduate April 15.
