Marines with 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, maintain a command operations center during a Deployment for Training exercise at Fort A.P. Hill, Va., Jan. 30. More than 700 Marines with the unit made the six-hour trip from Camp Lejeune, N.C., to utilize the extensive ranges the base offers to train in large scale operations. The training will serve as a precursor to the unit’s deployment to Okinawa, Japan.
