Second Lt. Michael Yoesle, a combat engineer platoon leader with 3rd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment, stationed out of Vilseck, Germany, originally from Marseilles, Ill., works his way out of the lake during the Polar Plunge event at Adazi Training Area in Latvia, Jan. 28, 2016. This event helped the U.S. Soldiers build a stronger relationship with our NATO ally by participating in some of the training and exercises that the Latvian Soldiers go through.
