An Australian soldier with Task Group Taji, coaches an Iraqi soldier, assigned to the Nineveh Operations Command’s (NOC) Commando Battalion, with rifle marksmanship techniques during a live-fire range at Camp Taji, Iraq, Jan. 9, 2016. NOC soldiers trained on the M16 rifle and learned basic marksmanship skills with the help of Iraqi and Australian soldiers. This training is part of the overall Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve building partner capacity mission to increase the military capacity of Iraqi Security Forces fighting the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
