Cpl. Matthew Brines, a motor transport operator with I Company stands his post`at Observation Post Falcons near Habbaniyah, Iraq, June 10. The 22-year-old from White Lake, Mich., spent five months at Camp Smitty driving trucks to re-supply forward operating bases and got his first experience with enemy contact soon after the battalion moved its headquarters moved west in early June.
