Keesler Air Force Base, Miss., Exchange Main Store Manager Sandra Jefferson presents Nicholas W. Leopoldus, of Biloxi, Miss., with a Schwinn 270 recumbent bicycle at the Keesler Exchange, Dec. 21, 2015. Leopoldus won second place in the Exchange's "My Vietnam Battle Buddy" essay contest for his piece on 2nd Lt. Ronald Osborne, whom he served with during a search-and-destroy mission a few miles from Cambodia in Vietnam. Obsorne was killed in action by an enemy claymore mine.
