160120-N-ZZ999-001 PEARL HARBOR (Jan. 20, 2016) - Chief Equipment Operator James McVicar delivers a final brief to Builder 2nd Class Jesus Saucedo and Builder 2nd Class Zach Schulte before they enter the water. The divers from Underwater Construction Team (UCT) 2's Construction Dive Detachment Alfa (CDDA) are preparing to perform a final inspection dive before concrete is poured on a pile restoration. CDDA is conducting pier repair on Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam to help prolong Third Fleet assets. CDDA is on the first stop of their deployment, where they are conducting inspection, maintenance, and repair of various underwater and waterfront facilities in support of the Pacific Fleet.
