German Luftwaffe (Air Force) Col. Jörg Kunze, executive director for the seminar on regional security studies welcomes 42 participants from 26 nations during the first day of class, Jan. 21. The three-week Seminar on Regional Security Studies resident course at the George C. Marshall European Center explores regional security considerations and conflict resolution through analyzing case studies from Libya, Georgia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Syria. A final exercise will have students devise a peaceful resolution to the continuing conflict in Ukraine.
