SASEBO, Japan (Jan. 22, 2016) Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling) Airman Julia Valles plays her guitar during a Martin Luther King Jr. Observance aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20). Green Bay recognized the life of Martin Luther King Jr. with an observance held in the ship’s chapel, in which there was a slideshow, along with Sailors performing songs and submitting civil rights artwork. Green Bay is attached to the Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group and is currently in a selective restricted availability in Sasebo, Japan.
