U.S. Air Force Reserve Master Sgt. Michael Wilson, 306th Rescue Squadron first sergeant, left, has roots in the U.S. Army beginning in 1989 at the age of 19, when the photo on the right was taken. He served in Operation Desert Storm as a private first class and re-enlisted in the Air Force Reserve on the 25th anniversary of the operation, on Jan. 16 this year.
