Marines with Maritime Raid Force, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, hold security during a raid Jan. 13, 2015, while participating in Realistic Urban Training Exercise on Guam. RUTEX is used to provide the MRF with high-intensity, close-quarter battle training in an actual urban environment. The training provides a degree of realism that cannot be duplicated at the MRF’s facilities on Okinawa. The exercise is part of the MRF’s pre-deployment training before their upcoming deployment with the 31st MEU. (U.S. Marine Corps Photo by Cpl. Thor J. Larson/Released)
