160117-N-YL073-023 GULF OF OMAN (Jan. 17, 2016) Aviation Structural Mechanic 3rd Class Jerald Lewis (left), from Cincinnati, and Logistics Specialist 3rd Class Anthony Dockins, from Yakima, Wash., attached to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 28, the “Dragon Whales,” electronically search for parts during maintenance inside an SH-60S Seahawk helicopter on the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3). Kearsarge is the flagship for the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and, with the embarked 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
