U.S. Air Force Col. Louis Perino, right, the commander of the 116th Medical Group, Georgia Air National Guard, receives the unit guidon from Col. Mark Weber, the commander of the 116th Air Control Wing, during a change of command ceremony at Robins Air Force Base, Ga., Jan. 10, 2016. A board certified emergency medicine physician, Perino replaced Col. Murierl Herman who commanded the group for more than six years. Perino is also the Chief of Aerospace Medicine and the Deputy State Air Surgeon for the Georgia Air National Guard and brings 23 years of Air National Guard and a wealth of civilian experience to the position.
