(Jan. 6, 2016) - Boatswain's Mate 2nd Class Logan Church from New Orleans, assigned to Navy Cargo Handling Battalion 1 (NCHB 1) signals to the crane operator to lower a shipping container onto a tractor trailer during refresher training in support of Operation Deep Freeze 2016 (ODF'16). Fifty four active and reserve component Sailors are conducting training in preparation for departure to McMurdo Station, Antarctica, in support of the National Science Foundation.
