Aurielle Polynice (left), an unmanned aircraft systems operator with Company F, 2nd Battalion, 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division placed second in Fort Hood’s garrison level Operation Rising Star singing competition on Sept. 25 at the Backbone NCO Lounge in Fort Hood, Texas. Polynice is handed the $300 second-place prize by a MWR representative.
